Project Description:
Eaton High School is known for its excellence both academically and athletically, and the performing arts department is no exception. Our goal is to continue improving with each performance. For this year's fall play, Radium Girls, a story about the brave girls who stood up for their right to a safe work environment, we'd like to enhance the technical aspects of the show by incorporating hanging Edison lights to mimic the radium plant, the main location in the play. These lights will provide our students with hands-on experience working with a new lighting element while adding a dynamic atmosphere to the show.

Proposal:
Incorporating Edison lights into our fall play will enhance both the students' technical knowledge and the audience's experience. These lights will also be used for other events such as jazz concerts, choir performances, and our Christmas concert, allowing the performing arts department to add a fresh, professional element to all productions. This grant will allow us to focus our financial resources on essentials like royalties, scripts, and costumes, while still improving the technical elements of our productions.
