Project Title: Drones for Elementary S.T.E.M.
Category: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
Amount Requested: $2,000

Project Description:
My current lab equipment is over 6 years old, and technology has advanced significantly during that time. I want to provide my young learners with access to the latest technology but am constrained by limited finances. My dream is to create an afterschool program for advanced students, where they can engage with cutting-edge technology like drones. I also have connections with the high school's drone program in our district, which could support and inspire our elementary students.

Proposal:
I am requesting funds to purchase a set of drones for use in an afterschool S.T.E.M. program aimed at advanced elementary students. These drones would allow students to explore engineering, technology, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on environment. My goal is to purchase six drones, each costing approximately $300. This afterschool program will not only engage students in innovative ways but will also bridge connections with the district's high school drone program, giving students a head start in these growing fields.

Budget Breakdown:

DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo Drones x 6 = $2,000
