Project Description:
As an educator in Rocky Ford, Colorado, a highly disadvantaged school district with a shrinking population and limited resources, I am seeking funds to equip my classroom with a set of up-to-date Chromebooks. These Chromebooks will help my first-grade students develop essential digital skills and engage in interactive learning experiences that will prepare them for future academic challenges.

Proposal:
This grant will provide my classroom with Chromebooks that will stay within the classroom, ensuring equal access to technology for all students. Many students in our district have limited or no access to technology at home, making this resource critical. By integrating Chromebooks into daily lessons, I can offer my students the opportunity to improve their digital literacy, conduct research, collaborate, and enhance their learning experience through interactive tools.

Impact on Students:
These Chromebooks will enable students to engage in math stations, rotations, and other subject-based activities that enhance their skills. The goal is to better prepare them for second grade and beyond by providing the technological tools they need to succeed in a modern academic environment.
