Heather Overstake, a dedicated educator at Strawberry Park Elementary in Steamboat Springs, CO, is seeking funding for the "Little Learners Books & Games" project. These decodable fiction and nonfiction books, along with interactive games, are designed to help children apply their phonics knowledge, supporting fluency, vocabulary development, and oral language skills. Aligned with the Science of Reading, these materials offer engaging stories and activities that reinforce the Five Pillars of Reading-essential skills that form the foundation for early literacy and academic success.

Project Proposal:
The Little Learners decodable books and games will help students grow as readers by providing engaging, systematic phonics practice. These resources are designed to make reading fun while reinforcing critical reading skills, such as fluency, vocabulary, and oral language. The games included in this project will offer students the opportunity to practice what they learn in a hands-on, interactive way, helping them to become proficient readers. By supporting this project, you will give young learners at Strawberry Park Elementary the tools they need to succeed in their literacy journey.
