Mrs. Jennifer Lamph is requesting funds to supply nutritious snacks for her kindergarten class at Hoff Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. This project aims to ensure that all students receive the same healthy snacks, eliminating the need to ask parents for donations or depend on students to bring their own, which often leads to unhealthy options like cookies, candy, and chips.

Impact:
By providing a consistent and nutritious snack every afternoon, the project will help students maintain their focus and energy levels. Mrs. Lamph has observed that the lack of healthy snacks often contributes to hyperactivity and a decline in focus in the classroom. With the funding, every student will have access to nutritious options like fruits, vegetables, cheese, and crackers, promoting healthier eating habits and improved afternoon engagement.

Use of Funds:
The funds will be used to supply daily snacks for 17 kindergarteners for approximately 30 weeks. The estimated cost is $66 per week, which would cover healthy snacks such as fruits, vegetables, crackers, pretzels, and cheese. Total requested: $2000.
