Project Description:
I teach Preschool in Strasburg, Colorado. Our school has around 600 students, and each Preschool classroom averages 20 students (90 total students). Preschool education plays a pivotal role in shaping a child's future academic interests and capabilities. Research shows that early STEM education can lead to improved problem-solving skills, better academic performance, and increased interest in STEM fields as children grow older. However, many preschools lack access to quality STEM resources, which can hinder the development of these critical skills.

Impact:
By introducing foundational STEM concepts through interactive and age-appropriate toys and materials, this project will help foster early STEM skills, encourage problem-solving and critical thinking, support diverse learning styles, and promote collaboration and communication among preschoolers. The goal is to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience that lays a strong foundation for future academic success. This project will directly benefit 90 students in our preschool classrooms, helping them develop the essential skills needed for lifelong learning.
