Project Description:
I am requesting funds to create hands-on music activities for my elementary students, focusing on xylophone, recorder, and ukulele arrangements. Custer County Elementary School is located in a small rural community, serving 360 students from PreK3 to 12th grade, with 57% receiving free lunches. These funds will help me create engaging music lessons and activities that increase student participation and allow them to practice independently while I provide small group instruction.

Impact:
These activities will help students gain independence while exploring a wide range of musical genres, expanding their musical horizons. Hands-on manipulatives will be durable and organized, allowing students to access materials easily and independently. The project aims to enhance learning retention through fun and engaging activities.
