Project Description:
Disabled students often require additional support to achieve the same level of education as their non-disabled peers. In our special education classroom at West Grand High School, students' needs vary widely-one may need instruction in reading, while another needs help with motor skills. Tablets are an invaluable tool, offering students the opportunity for self-paced, virtual instruction tailored to their individual needs. Whether it's practicing writing with a stylus for students with fine motor deficits or providing guided instruction for an autistic student, a tablet's versatility makes it a critical learning resource.

Project Proposal:
I currently have one tablet in my classroom, and this project seeks funding for two additional tablets to create a dedicated tablet center. This center will allow me to assign each student a specific app or task based on their unique needs, providing a more personalized and accessible learning experience. The tablets will help foster engagement and skill development for students who might struggle with traditional methods, empowering them to perform at the same level as their peers.

Budget Narrative:
The requested $700 will be used to purchase two SAMSUNG 2022 Galaxy Tab A8 tablets ($660) and two protective cases with screen protectors ($40), ensuring that the technology remains durable and functional for years to come.
