Welcome to the 43rd Annual Charity & Scholarship Benefit Luncheon hosted by the Association of Black Women Physicians (ABWP)! We are thrilled to invite you to join us on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

This year, our event carries the theme "Celebrating the Triumph of Courageous Women," focusing on those who have overcome intimate partner violence with remarkable resilience. Intimate partner violence is not just a personal tragedy but a public health crisis, and physicians are needed more than ever to lead efforts to eradicate this pervasive issue.

For over four decades, the ABWP has championed the cause of Black women in medicine, supporting physicians, trainees, and medical/undergraduate students through initiatives like our Scholarship Gala. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and community partners, including your invaluable contributions, we have awarded over a million dollars in scholarships, including the esteemed Rebecca Lee Crumpler, MD Scholarship.

Your participation not only honors the spirit of perseverance but also directly impacts future generations of Black women in medicine, empowering them to achieve their dreams despite challenges they may face. We look forward to sharing an inspiring afternoon of celebration and solidarity with you.
