On Saturday, August 10, the Newport Art Museum will once again be transformed into the largest and most inclusive gallery in Rhode Island: the 31st Annual Wet Paint!
Artists and art lovers are invited to join in Newport Art Museum's art-making celebration and auction.
Wet Paint 2 will feature hundreds of artworks, including many that are "still wet," created by artists of all ages working in a wide variety of mediums. These unique pieces will be available for sale through a silent online auction.
Artists of all ages are welcome to submit original artwork in any media to our silent auction, but adult submissions must be 12" x 12" (12" x 12" x 12" for sculpture), or 8" x 8" for youth. Artists may submit up to two artworks, and the Museum will provide each artist with one wooden board FREE!
Are you an art lover more than a maker? Wet Paint is a wonderful opportunity to support our Museum by bidding on original artwork! All proceeds benefit the Museum's exhibitions, acquisitions, and collection care.
NEW THIS YEAR! All bidding will take place online, so you can bid from wherever you happen to be!
