-Winner(s) has the option of a 5 day bow hunt or 5 day shotgun hunt with Fred Zeitler -Private farm located in SE Iowa (Davis and Van Buren Counties) -Zones 5 or 6 (SE Iowa) -Shotgun Season 2 or Bow Season Oct. 1st-Dec. 6th 2024 -5 Day hunt -Bow hunt will have the option of days within the season to select which can be discussed with the host prior to the auction if needed. -Lodging provided at bunkhouses on property or cabins located near Lake Sugema depending on availability. -Rifles firing straight wall or other centerfire ammunition that fall within the Iowa DNR regulations are allowed. Preferred method of take during deer drives are 10, 12, 16 or 20 gauge shotguns for safety reasons. Please refer to Iowa DNR regulations on allowable rifle cartridges. -Tag application costs, licenses and other fees through the Iowa DNR are to be paid for by the auction winner(s). -Transportation to and from are paid for by the auction winner(s) -Food, drinks and outside entertainment are not provided. Full kitchens are available in all bunk houses and cabins. Access to grocery stores and restaurants in the local area. -Shotgun hunt will be semi-guided depending on hunter preference and the quantity and availability of other hunters to set-up deer drives. -Typical hunting day (shotgun) consists of 2-3 deer drives in the morning and blind hunting in the afternoon and evening. This can vary depending on hunter preference, weather and availability of sufficient number of hunters needed to set up a drive.
