As part of Negro Leagues Heritage Night, the Richmond Flying Squirrels will honor the impact and contributions made by members of the Negro Leagues to the game of baseball. Though Richmond did not have a team in the Negro Leagues, the city's history of Black baseball is rich.
In partnership with the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia, the Flying Squirrels will have reading materials, programming and artifacts for fans to learn about Black players from Virginia who played in the Negro Leagues at the game on June 29th.

Winners will be contacted via email after the auction and will be able to pick up their jersey(s) at the front office starting on Monday, July 1st. Jerseys can also be shipped for an additional cost.
