The art of transforming mute stone into a powerful, living sculpture...

Hyam was a renowned sculptor celebrated for his ability to transform stone into living art. His journey was deeply influenced by his international travels and a profound appreciation for the earth's materials. The beauty of his stone sculptures lies in their natural essence, which he skillfully incorporated into each piece.

With a distinctive style that exudes power and sophistication, Hyam dedicated over 50 years to his craft. He studied sculptural arts and traveled across Europe, immersing himself in the masterpieces of the continent. Notably, he sourced marble from the same Carrara quarry as Michelangelo, bringing those majestic blocks back to the U.S.

Hyam continued to create in his studios in Beverly Hills and San Juan Capistrano, sharing his passion and techniques with students until he was 100 years old. Remarkably, he was still sculpting just weeks before his passing at nearly 103. His work garnered acclaim from collectors and fellow artists alike. His first sculpture, featuring two colts, won first place at the Beverly Hills Art Show, kicking off a legacy of awards in California art shows.

Hyam's sculptures are prized worldwide, with notable collectors including some of Hollywood's finest. His legacy endures through the elegance and vigor of his art, forever transforming the stillness of stone into breathtaking masterpieces.
