The Sauternes is a treat that offers everything you could want in a sweet wine with countless layers of honey-slathered, vanilla-tinted ripe, and overripe tropical fruits, roasted nuts, and apricots. Rich, luscious, and also bright, crisp, vibrant, and racy, this wine is so good that it makes it virtualy impossible to put down your glass. Made to age for 20 years, this special 2005 vintage is ready to drink!

In contrast to the sweet flavors of the Sauternes, the Chateau Leoville Poyferre Saint Julien is a serious, big and extracted Bordeaux. Deep color with a crimson rim. The nose is almost bombastic - black and red fruit, espresso grounds, oak spice and a touch of tarragon.
