Eddie Farr is an artist focused on physical and digital technology living in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.A. in Music and an M.M. in Music Technology. As a musician and composer, he has performed works internationally and throughout the U.S. As a visual artist, he has shown works at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, ArtFields, Blue Heron Nature Preserve, The Atlanta Beltline, Echo Contemporary, Shedspace at Whitespace Gallery, and was the installation artist at the 2023 Hambidge Art Auction. He is a Hambidge Fellow and was part of the initial cohort for the Fulton County Futures Lab residency. His installation Color of the Horizon, located at South River Art Studio, is open now through June of 2025. The installation uses public web cameras around the world to capture images of the sunrise and sunset to create an immersive experience for the viewer by reflecting the two endpoints of the day across sculptural lights installed in the ceiling of an Airstream camper. He is also preparing for a solo show at Echo Contemporary Arts, which is scheduled for the fall of 2025.
