Lisa Shinault is an Atlanta-based, multidisciplinary painter. She works in a variety of media, creating mixed media works on wood panel and canvas, hand painted ceramic tile, mosaic, and reverse glass painted collage. For The Hambidge Art Auction, she offers an eye motif mosaic from a series she calls "Reflectors", each featuring reverse painted and collaged glass domes with tesserae and mirror bits grouted onto a stone tile surface made to hang on most any interior wall. Lisa earned a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design's Savannah location and has lived in and exhibited primarily in Georgia. Her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions at Raymond Lawrence Gallery, 378 Gallery, and Swan Coach House Gallery. She is a 2019 Hambidge Center Artist Residency Fellow. Her work is held privately, including in the collections of King & Spalding, LLP; Ossabaw Island Foundation; the online art news outlet, Arts ATL; writer and art critic, Jerry Cullum; singer-songwriter Chan Marshall aka Cat Power; digital editing boutique, Guillotine Post, and restaurant owner Clay Harper's La Fonda Latina East Lake Atlanta location, and singer Puddles Pity Party and Co.
