Enjoy a private studio visit with sculptor Jonathan Prince including lunch for 6 people at Berkshire House in Southfield, MA.

Jonathan Prince is an acclaimed American sculptor, celebrated for his monumental works in steel, stone, and wood, which reflect his deep engagement with science, technology, and spirituality. Dividing his time between his European studio in Brussels and his 20,000 sq. ft. studio in the Berkshires, Massachusetts, Prince creates works that explore materiality, form, and scale through a practice honed by decades of making. Prince's formative years were shaped apprenticing with the Lithuanian-born Cubist sculptor Jacques Lipchitz. His sculptures, marked by striking contrasts-oxidized corten steel juxtaposed with polished stainless steel or precise geometric shapes fractured into jagged forms-express the tension between precision and imperfection, embodying the dualities inherent in life.

In the Berkshires, Prince co-founded Berkshire House with his partner and curator Stephanie Manasseh, creating a cultural hub at the crossroads of art, technology, gastronomy, and collaboration. Set against the region's rich artistic backdrop, home to institutions like Mass MoCA, Tanglewood, and the Clark Art Institute, Berkshire House amplifies the Berkshires' reputation as a global center of creativity. With its focus on fostering dialogue and innovation, Berkshire House brings together thought leaders and artists from around the world, continuing Prince's commitment to exploring the interplay of material, ideas, and human connection.

Studio visit for up to 6 guests. Date to be mutually agreed upon with the Artist.
