"Coffee Sunrise" was created by "F", a 17-year-old artist from Miller Children's HemOnc unit. She is quite innovative in her media choices and approach to art. As she says: "I like art ... painting makes me feel better, especially after seeing the final results. Although the name may sound odd, I got the idea from the fact that I used instant coffee for the brown shades. The painting now smells like coffee, which I like. The picture is pretty calm, no one in sight. That's because the lighthouse is deserted." With a winning bid, help our cause and be the proud owner of one-of-a-kind artwork created by children currently receiving treatment at Miller Children's Hospital.
This piece of art, created with media paint and coffee on canvas, measures approximately 8.5"x11.5" and will come framed and ready to hang!
NOTE: Should the winning bidder require this item to be shipped, bidder agrees to pay all charges incurred by the Luke TATSU Johnson Foundation for related shipping costs.
