Here's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for your favorite chef, culinary connoisseur, or anyone interested in food or media careers! Cooking is an adventure and America's Test Kitchen (ATK) is everyone's guide. ATK has TV shows on PBS (America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country); magazines (Cooks Illustrated and Cook's Country); and other media - and they are all produced in downtown Boston. Emily Rahravan, a Digital Editor at ATK, will lead you and up to 3 friends or family members (4 total) on a tour of their Boston facility. The tour got rave reviews from last year's winner, and the winner of this item will receive 2 ATK cookbooks on the day of the tour.

America's Test Kitchen (ATK) helps curious cooks become confident cooks. It is a 15,000-square-foot test kitchen, with more than 60,000 feet of space for photography, videography and other media work. ATK is the workplace of more than 250 test cooks, producers, editors, food scientists, tasters, testers, reviewers, and more. Their mission is to test recipes over and over until they understand how and why the recipes work, and until they arrive at the "best" version, including suggested modifications for preferences such as the level of spiciness. Then, the experts share the learning through media outlets to help everyone cook with confidence. The Kitchen also tests and shares information on hundreds of cookware pieces and supermarket ingredients every year.

The tour will be scheduled for a mutually agreed upon date on a weekday, non-filming time. Tour members need to adhere to current Covid testing procedures (if any at the time) and also be vaccinated and boosted.
