1000 Piers Coastal Carolina Gin
This gin (96 Points Gold Medal in the US Spirits Ratings) is a modern take on London Dry style with a bit more flavor, more juniper and 21 other botanicals including orange peel, grapefruit peel, lemongrass, kaffir lime, root ginger, star anise, to name a few. The botanicals used in this fine gin are fresh (not dried) and sourced from local SC farms. The gin has a "London Dry denomination" - they fully respect the craft of distillation - what's in the bottle is what comes off the still. No flavors added after the fact.

Easy and memorable to enjoy on the rocks with a lemon twist. Martini serving suggests a twist of orange. G & T prefers Fever Tree Indian Tonic brand with an orange slice.

1000 Piers Blueberry Gin
The 1000 Blueberry Piers Gin is made by distilling a fruit floral gin base and then post-infusing it with wonderful local NC blueberries, and leaving it to marry up for about 3-4 weeks before filtering. All of the ingredients are totally natural. The color components called anthocyanins (from the blueberry skins) give this gin its lovely red/purple hue. Flavor is subtle, natural.

The Hackney restaurant showcases it in the famous Blueberry 75. Recipe - 1.5 oz 1000 Piers Blueberry Gin, 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 oz simple syrup - in a cocktail shaker with ice - shake, strain and pour into a flute. Top with chilled prosecco. Garnish with a lemon twist!
