Falconry Experience & Wine Tasting for 4

Originally planted in the 1880's, Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros, a region located on the southern tip of Napa Valley. Winemaker Chris Kajani focuses on crafting vibrant, exciting wines with the elegance of Burgundy, the exuberance of California, and the terroir of Carneros.

Enjoy a unique falconry experience in the Bouchaine Vineyard's garden, followed by a tour and tasting for up to four guests.

Hold out your gloved hand while a bird of prey soars through the air to you. Learn how falcons and hawks are used to mitigate bird damage to grapes in the vineyard. A beautiful owl will also be there for you to check out close up!

Afterwards, take a tour into the cellar to taste from the different vessels used to make wine. There you will learn how concrete eggs - versus clay amphora - versus oak can change the flavor and texture of wines.

Then, settle into your private, reserved table on the beautiful vineyard terrace, overlooking the rolling hills of Carneros to enjoy your choice of over 15 small production wines hand crafted from their 100 acre estate vineyard. Create incredible memories to last a lifetime.

• A falconry experience in the Bouchaine Vineyards Gardens
• Winery tour, followed by wine tasting at private table on the terrace
• Falconry is offered only Fridays at 10 am, from May through November.
• The tasting can follow the falconry experience, or be scheduled separately, anytime during business hours (open 7 days a week, 10 am - 5 pm).
