IkeFest was first formed as a multi-year reunion in 2021, to bring together friends who had been apart for 40 years, give or take. Our party takes place annually, the 1st Saturday after Labor Day in September, and is open to Eisenhower Alumni from graduating years 1974-1994. Since forming, many friends have volunteered to help, including fundraising for a good cause. Many of us have succeeded in industries touched by the trades. Concrete, electrical, printing, drywall, and construction among other trades, have been given less attention in the near past. We were excited to see the curriculum that is now offered in the N.B. school district is a robust one. We were yet more excited to partner with SDNB and the Education Foundation of New Berlin to fundraise for curriculum grants. Our donations will be directed to these trades curriculum.
Many thanks to all of our classmates, especially those donating their time, talent, or treasure to make this event a success!
