About Gala for Life

Please join us for our Gala for Life on Friday, October 4, 2024, at club XLIV in Champions Square! We look forward to being together at the elegant club XLIV with live music and delicious cuisine from local restaurants to support the life-affirming work of Woman's New Life Clinic.

Woman's New Life Clinic serves women in unplanned pregnancies by providing free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, professional counseling, abortion pill reversal, and more. In addition to these unique services, Woman's New Life Clinic also offers low-cost women's healthcare, including well-woman care, urgent gynecologic care, STD testing, and prenatal care up to 20 weeks.

2024 Gala for Life Honorees

This year's honorees are a group of women whose small acts of love have made an immense impact on Woman's New Life Clinic.

Our 2024 Gala for Life honorees are Judy Babin, Claudette Nenos, and Ruth Beron of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish; Missy Whittington of St. Mary Magdalen Parish; Libby Boihem and Dody Theriot of St. Rita Parish (Harahan); Donna Molay of St. Angela Merici Parish; Charlotte Crusta of St. Dominic Parish; Cheryl Mastio of St. Clement of Rome Parish; and Kathleen Pilie of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.

Week after week, these beautiful, servant-hearted women come to Woman's New Life Clinic to help prepare our Baby Bottle Campaigns, organize donated baby clothing and items, sort Born to Run t-shirts, label and stuff envelopes, and complete any other needed tasks that arise. These 10 women combined do the work of 1.5 full-time employees in a year, and some have been volunteering regularly since 2017!

We can assuredly say that their little acts of service are not small at all, for the love they pour into each bottle counted, each envelope stuffed, and each baby onesie folded is magnificent and radiates the life-saving love of our Lord.

Volunteer at Gala for Life 2024

Gala for Life wouldn't be the event it is without the help of our on-site, day-of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at the event on October 4, click the button below to complete our volunteer sign-up! High School student volunteers are encouraged to wear their school uniforms and can earn double service hours. Complimentary parking for volunteers available in Champions Garage on Girod Street.
