2024 Caswell Area Distinguished Citizen Honoree is Jim Segrave

Scouting America's - East Carolina Council is set to host the annual Caswell Area Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner on Thursday, September 19, at Fly Exclusive. The venue address is 2860 Jetport Rd., Kinston, NC 28504 and all event proceeds go to support the local Scouting program in Eastern North Carolina and surrounding communities.

East Carolina Council provides leadership, program, and resources in the wealth management industry, numerous charities and causes and nonprofit organizations alike for decades.

The BSA's Distinguished Citizen award is presented annually by the East Carolina Council to leaders and volunteers who provide outstanding civic service and support in his or her community. Those who receive the award personify what the Boy Scouts of America stand for:

·        Good participating citizenship

·        Exemplary moral fiber with a dedication to others

·        Commitment to living their lives by the Scout Oath and Law
