Yosemite's south entrance is only 20 miles away, typically a 30-minute drive. Traveling in that direction, you can also visit the other side of Bass Lake for swimming, boat rentals, beaches, and restaurants. During the winter, your family can go sledding at the Fish Camp (Goat Meadow) snow park in only 30 minutes or go skiing at Badger Pass Ski Resort in about an hour!
