Bacoa Presents: Mid Mod Barrington

Join Bacoa for our inaugural Mid Mod Barrington event!

Mid Mod Barrington is a home tour showcasing the rich history of Mid-Century Modern homes in the Barrington Area. Many important MCM architects not only designed homes in Barrington, but also made the Barrington Area their home.

Architects featured on the tour: Ed Dart, Harry Weese, Keck & Keck, Don Tosi, Milton Schwartz, and Dennis Blair.

Tour begins at St. Michael's Episcopal Church of Barrington (647 Dundee Ave, Barrington), which was designed by Ed Dart. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM. Ticket holders will receive their event map and credentials at St. Michael's. 

10 AM - 4 PM: MCM tour of 10 Barrington Area homes. Tour includes interior access to all homes. 

5 - 7 PM: Closing Reception in Barrington Hills at the special grand finale Henrich House designed by Ed Dart. Catering by local Barrington business, Wild Asparagus.

Houses on the tour were organized by Stephanie Walker, member of the Barrington Cultural Commission and Realtor at Compass Real Estate.
