JIA-JEN LIN (b. Taichung, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese-American artist based in Brooklyn and Berlin. Her installations mediate the body, space, human condition, and our society. Her body of work integrates sculpture, photography, video, sound, text, and performance. Among other places, her works have been shown at the Queens Museum, the Hessel Museum of Art, Hong-Gah Museum, Brooklyn Rail, Franconia Sculpture Park, and Locust Projects. She was an artist-in-residence at the International Studio and Curatorial Program, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, The Arctic Circle, and the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts.
