BEN PLACZEK is a professional photographer based in Omaha, Nebraska. Through his work, he celebrates the vitality and delicate balance of our natural world. He hopes viewers sense the same interconnectedness he feels when exploring landscapes and their inhabitants with his photography. With degrees in photography from both the Art Institute of Colorado and Omaha's Metropolitan Community College, Placzek has worked as a commercial photographer for the past fifteen years. Select clients include Hornady, Bushnell, Allen Company, Beretta, and Fat Brain Toys. His photographs have also been featured in public-facing publications like American Cowboy (September 2016), which featured Placzek's work alongside a multi-page interview. His work has been featured by Gun Dog (including their cover), Covey Rise, and NebraskaLand magazines. His photographs were honored as part of Photographers Forum's "2009 Photos of the Year" and NebraskaLand's "2023 Photos of the Year."
