RITTA IKONEN & ANNIE COLLINGE have collaborated since 2007. Collinge studied at Central Saint Martins and Brighton University, and is based in London and New York. She frequently engages in collaborative projects, working with artists such as Ikonen, Julie Verhoeven, and Rottingdean Bazaar. Collinge's work has been exhibited internationally, including a solo show at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans and a recent commission for The Museum of London. Ikonen, from Finland, integrates performance art, wearable sculptures, and participatory projects. After earning her MA from the Royal College of Art in 2008, she has exhibited at the Barbican Centre, Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, the Peabody Essex Museum, and at the London and Pyeongchang Olympics. Ikonen also lectures and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, notably through Eyes as Big as Plates, her thirteen-year collaboration with Karoline Hjorth.
