BETH FEIN is an interdisciplinary artist who grew up in the Hudson Valley and now lives in Berkeley, California. She works in her Oakland studio and as an artist-in-residence at KALA Art Institute in Berkeley, where she has taught nontoxic printmaking. Fein's art practice includes installation, sculpture, printmaking, video, and performance. She has exhibited nationally and internationally. From 2005-2016 Fein created and directed an international public art project, which had thousands of participants on seven continents, in sixty-six countries, and 714 cities. Fein's work is in the collections of Yale University Library, Oakland Museum of California, UC Berkeley's Graphic Arts Collection, San Francisco Art Commission, Taller Grafica Experimental Havana, Nevada Art Museum, Zuckerman Art Museum and the Bradbury Art Museum. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. Fein has participated in artist residencies in Cuba, Spain, Argentina, Switzerland, New York, Vermont, and California.
