"Rags to Riches was born out of necessity. Family and friends came together to create an experience unlike any other in Bay St Louis. Husband and wife, Shane and Amy Bernard and business partner and friend, Craig Bordelon, wanted to create a place that they felt was missing from the Bay.

The Bay seems to have plenty of fancy seafood restaurants, local events, and beautiful views. However, it needs a true sports bar. A place where you could come straight from the beach with the kids and catch the game. Not only are they serving up a cajun-infused and drool-worthy menu with waffle fries that are to-die-for, but there's plenty of outdoor tables and games where the families can play and enjoy the scenery of downtown Bay St. Louis.

Bordelon and the Bernard's also wanted it to have a getaway section that almost has a classy, speakeasy vibe. The duel concept came to life as they built an entire second story that not only has breath taking views of the water that make it a perfect spot for a date night, but also features local musicians, signature craft cocktails, and a wide variety of choices for wine lovers. The upstairs bar is a perfect melody of being able to still catch the game while in an intimate setting that allows the sparks to fly."
