Founded in 1994 by Marlin, the brand initially sought a logo to complement the innovative gears and dual-case adapters designed to enable Toyota 4-wheel drive vehicles to crawl at an impressive pace-"as slow as a Jeep."

After exploring various concepts, Marlin found his perfect match at the Great Smoky Trail Ride in Tennessee, where he met illustrator Rainey Kirk from Nashville. Rainey's design of the Turtle Logo has since inspired countless enthusiasts to push their Toyota and Lexus vehicles to new heights.
