Birding The Historic Limberlost Swamp

Explore the historic Limberlost Swamp Conservation Area where Gene Stratton Porter spent much time exploring nature and began writing her most popular novels. You and 3 friends will join Randy and Terri Gorney Lehman for a morning of birding the nearby Limberlost Swamp area, including Limberlost Swamp and nearby Loblolly Marsh. Both Randy and Terri are local experts in the history of the Limberlost Historic Sites and the great birding found within the same wetlands today.

This auction also includes two antique, hardcover copies of two of Stratton Porter's most popular works, A Girl of the Limberlost (1909) and Freckles (1904).

Learn more about Limberlost on the Indiana Birding Trail.

Winners have one year to coordinate the morning birding tour for up to 4 people.
