You and a friend can enjoy 3 days of birding in Eastern Florida with beloved guides Tom Bush and Chip Clouse from Jan 28-30, 2025 (just after the Space Coast Birding Festival). You'll explore various locations by boat and on foot. With a broad diversity of habitats from pinewoods and maritime hammocks to swamps, salt marshes and beaches, Volusia and Brevard Counties support vital breeding, overwintering, resting and refueling sites for more than 500 bird species. You are likely to see 100+ species. If not, your guides have promised to buy beers.

Itinerary:

- Arrive to Orlando - Tom will transport you from the airport to Deland.

- Day 1 -- Boat ride on the scenic St John's River to Blue Springs State Park. Boat, kayak, and bird around the park which is also a hotspot for manatee viewing. Lunch on the boat included.

- Day 2 -- Birding around Deland, Florida including Hontoon Island State Park and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge

- Day 3 - Birding around Titusville, Merritt Island NWR including Black Point Wildlife Drive, and Playalinda Beach.
