In Memory of Henry Hager-Philadelphia Golf
This is a first class auction item! Offering the winning bidder a threesome at each of the following historic golf courses.
Play Merion Golf Club in memory of the late Henry Hager. A beautiful, historical course where Bobby Jones won the US Amateur Championship to complete his 1930 Grand Slam and a course which continues to this day to be a true joy & challenge to play as the Club will host the 2026 U.S. Amateur and the 2030 U.S. Open. In addition to the threesome round, the winning bidder and his group will enjoy lunch (don't forget to raise a glass!) and a tour of the clubhouse including the archive room.
New to the lineup this year is the opportunity for three to play the Wissahickon Course at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, the oldest country club in the United States. Golf Magazine ranks this classically designed course among the top 100 American courses, and #5 in Pennsylvania. A must play private course; host to multiple PGA Championships, and in 2025 the Truist Championship (formerly Well Fargo Championship).
Play two courses at Saucon Valley Country Club--The Old Course and The Weyhill Course. Two premier courses with gorgeous vistas and no two holes alike. Saucon Valley has hosted 13 USGA national championships with the honor of hosting several Opens in the future.
Lodging is provided at the Radnor Hotel (first night) and at the distinguished Bethlehem Hotel (two nights). As honored guests at the elegantly appointed, historic Bethlehem Hotel enjoy dinner after the first day of golf at Saucon Valley.
This item is available for the 2025 golf season at mutually agreed upon dates. Transportation is not provided. Philadelphia Cricket Club is a walking course but if over 65 or with a doctor's note carts are available and must be played between May 15 and September 30, 2025.
