Buy it Now! Spotlight on Marty Pipp Petillo

Marty Pipp Petillo's created her new art quilt "together, we are better" for our 2024 Quilt and Fiber Art Auction. It's on display at Blue Bar Quilts (6333 University Drive, Middleton, WI) during the month of September, along with a retrospective of quilts she's created over the years.

This hand-stitched quilt measures 19"x 27" and was on prominent display at our Great Wisconsin Quilt Show booth in early September.

If this quilt is something you must have (and you must!) and you don't want to risk getting outbid on the auction, you can BUY IT NOW by the end of September. Simply make a donation of $500 or more through our auction website or by making a one-time donation at gsafewi.org. Include the note "Marty's Quilt" with your purchase. Forward your receipt to [email protected] and this quilt is yours and available for pick up at the end of September.

More on Marty Pipp Petillo

"A Journey from Traditional to Art Quilts" by Marty Pipp Petillo - stop in to view this new, informative and delightful retrospective quilt show now on display in the Blue Bar Quilts Hallway Gallery through September!

Marty tells the story of her transition from traditional to art quilting through 20 quilts she made from 1999-2009. It's the "older" art she's made that hangs on her walls at home. While her art voice has continued to evolve, these early works evoke memories of how she was inspired by specific fiber artists and her love of nature and places she loves. Marty's current work is built on a solid foundation: a proficiency in sewing and design techniques, inspiration from others, and a confidence in her own vision.
