Experience a "Sexy Sue" Flight

Sexy Sue is a totally restored 1944 Douglas A26 Invader based at Renton WA in the Seattle area. She flew 2500h with the USAF until 1960 when she was converted by On Mark Engineering at Van Nuys; CA into an executive transport. She was the Gulfstream of her day in the late 50s and early 60s. On Mark converted 45 of these A26s and called them Marketeers; each one somewhat customized for the client. They were the first high-speed all-weather executive transports before the Learjet and Saberliner took over that market in 1964. She is powered by two 18 cylinders 2000HP Pratt & Whitney 2800 radial engines; weighs 35000lbs fully loaded; carries 10 souls; and cruises at 240kts with an endurance of 6h and a range of 1500nm. The A26 is the only USAF bomber to fly in three wars WWII; Korea; and Viet Nam; and the speed record for a twin-engine airplane around the world is still held by an A26.
