Experience excellent food, music and lodging in lovely Lawrence, Kansas with this great package!
Use this $200 gift card for an incredible meal at 715, an upscale Italian-style neighborhood restaurant and bar located in Downtown Lawrence. It offers simple, fresh, handmade food, cocktails, and wine.
Look up "holiday music" in the dictionary, and it's likely that there is a photo of the nine-person a cappella group Straight No Chaser instead of a standard definition. For more than two decades, the group has provided the soundtrack of the season, bringing millions of fans to their feet while putting them in the holiday spirit. Year after year, fans anxiously await the moment they can officially hit play on Straight No Chaser favorites.
And this year is no different. Catch Straight No Chaser at the Lied Center in Lawrence with a pair of tickets for their Top Shelf Tour on Wednesday, November 13. They'll be serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet of holiday music (with none of the calories).
The nine-man act of Walter Chase, Jerome Collins, Seggie Isho, Michael Luginbill, Steve Morgan, Jasper Smith, Luke Bob Robinson, Tyler Trepp and Freedom Young has served as a festive blend of harmonious voices for more than two and a half decades, having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Even though the group has been together for a quarter of a century, the thrill of performing holiday songs for old and new fans alike is not lost on them.
Completing this amazing package is a gift certificate for one night's stay at the historic Eldridge Hotel in Downtown Lawrence.
The hotel began its renovation in January 2005, during which the hotel was closed, a multi-million-dollar renovation project restored the building to its original 1925 grandeur. Reopening in May 2005, The Eldridge once again assumed its role as Lawrence's premier hotel, occupying the most historic corner in Kansas. The Eldridge truly is the place where history and hospitality converge.
What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!
