About the Hispanic and Latino Legacy Dinner
The Public Education Foundation (PEF) and event co-chairs Peter Guzman and Tony Sanchez celebrates educators' impact on our community and the powerful Hispanic and Latino people who have rooted themselves as sources of encouragement, inspiration, and champions of children who don't have equitable access to education. In honor of these phenomenal people, PEF will be hosting our Hispanic and Latino Legacy Dinner/Cena Patrimonio de Hispanos y Latinos on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. This event will inspire and motivate all attendees to invest in education while fostering a deeper sense of unity in our community, and an appreciation for diversity in education and other professional spaces. Proceeds from the event will create new scholarships for Hispanic- and Latino-identifying students and support PEF's Scholarships Plus program, which awarded more than $6.25 million in scholarships to more than 800 students in 2023.
