Frankie Krupa Vahdani (b. 1991, she/her) works and lives in Skagit Valley, WA. Krupa Vahdani graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Art and has exhibited work at Geheim Gallery in Bellingham, WA, The Warehouse Art Museum in Milwaukee, WI and Fuller Rosen Gallery in Portland, OR and Philadelphia, PA.
FKVs work explores a person's relationship to heritage and destructive historical events. The reinterpretation of classic Persian motifs alongside traditional Polish craft results in phosphorescent, color soaked works. These new works reflect back thoughts of:
