Her books include "Mary Randlett: Landscapes," "Mary Randlett: Portraits, and Iridescent Light" (with Deloris Tarzan Ament). Mary was affiliated with Cygnus Gallery.," Mary Randlett got her first camera at age 10 and by her 20s had set her path as an artist who avoided the studio and embraced the darkroom. She worked in the field, composed in camera, and did all her own printing. She specialized in Northwest landscapes and seascapes and in recording Northwest literary and artistic figures. With all subjects, her aim was to capture the illuminating moment. Her photographs are in many museum collections and her collected work is archived at UW Special Collections.
