Aaron Loveitt, Alluvial, Bronze and Iron, 2024, 35" x 7" x 7"

Aaron Loveitt lives and works on Blanchard Mountain in Bow. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest landscape, Aaron's artwork becomes a symbolic intersection of material, process and points of understanding around the phenomenon of this region's time and place.

This sculpture signifies the malleability of a river's path. Like the forces of its adjacent landscape, this sculpture was forged with significant and sudden force as if accelerating the landslides and alluvial formations that occur in a watershed over millennia.

Purchase of this auction item comes with a studio tour!

Perched on a forested mountainside, Aaron's shop- Canopy Art & Iron is home to an industrial scale sculpture facility as well as an alternative exhibition space that showcases curated exhibits of experimental and regionally inspired artwork. This gallery project aims to bring together community, contemporary art, food and drink to celebrate and explore the exceptional artistic talent that helps make the Skagit Valley so remarkable.

Visiting Canopy Art & Iron is a unique art experience that includes the large outdoor sculptures and current projects of Aaron Loveitt, a tour of his industrial blacksmithing shop and resident artists' studio projects, as well as a gallery exhibition of regional artists, all within the beautiful mountain setting above Samish Bay.

Appetizers and refreshments will be served.

Studio tour is for six participants on a mutually agreed upon date.
