A first for husband and wife team, Steven Plofker and Bobbi Brown, the couple transformed a once forgotten Georgian Inn into a design-minded, boutique hotel in the heart of Montclair.

The George has a modern style with historic bones. Lending her famous eye for style and design, Creative Director, Bobbi Brown, reimagined the space to have an upscale, chic aesthetic, plus hand-picked products from some of her favorite brands. Located 12 miles west of NYC, in Montclair's urban city-center, the couple is excited to offer a unique guest experience by sharing their love of travel, discovery and one-of-a-kind design at The George. You are invited to bring your dog to The George. All dogs receive V.I.P. treatment. Please note that there is a fee of $75 per stay for each one of your furry friends. All pets will be welcomed with a dog bed, food and water bowls and treats!
