Hi, my name is Brian Colon, and I'm a lifelong New Mexican raised in Valencia County. I had the pleasure of graduating from Los Lunas High School - Go Tigers! I went on to earn my finance degree at New Mexico State University and later my law degree at The University of New Mexico School of Law. I am proud to have accomplished my father's dream before he passed away when I was just a teenager. He always took pride in encouraging me to be the first in our family to go to college. Before he passed away, my entire family moved to Florida to try to delay his passing, but I stayed here to pursue college. After my father passed, one of my mom's "lifelines" was the Meals on Wheels program. It provided balanced nourishment, but of equal importance, the volunteers who delivered her meals were a source of social interaction that became a highlight in her week.

Currently, I'm the Managing Partner of Singleton Schreiber's New Mexico offices. As managing partner, I oversee multiple statewide offices that focus on several different legal fields including personal injury-my passion. Prior to my time as managing partner, I was privileged to live my dream and serve New Mexico in public office. I was State Auditor of New Mexico and had the distinct honor of fearlessly advocating for New Mexicans against bad actors who sought to negatively impact our community. In addition, I have over 30 years of professional experience and an extensive background of service to local communities.

During my years of service, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of supporting non-profits that seek to uplift our state. In particular, I believe that Meals on Wheels is one of the best suited nonprofits that provides affordable, healthy, and timely meals for our growing elderly community in New Mexico.

With my personal connection to Meals on Wheels, I couldn't be more than grateful for the opportunity to serve as a celebrity waiter in support of their annual fundraiser.
