Is your child captivated by the news or dreams of becoming a newscaster? Don't miss out on this exclusive opportunity at KOAA! Your child and up to 10 of their friends will participate in the following once-in-a-lifetime experience:

1. Exclusive Newsroom Tour: Begin the day with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the KOAA newsroom. Allow the children to see how a news station operates, from the control room to the anchor desks. Make it interactive by allowing them to ask questions and even try out some of the equipment under supervision.

2. Mock Newscast Experience: The children are assigned to different roles such as anchors, reporters, weather presenters, and camera operators. Provide them with scripts or let them improvise based on a simple news story or weather report. Ensure that each child gets a chance to participate and rotate roles, so everyone gets a chance to experience different aspects of broadcasting.

3. Professional Guidance: Have KOAA staff members, such as reporters or producers, mentor the children during their mock newscast. They provide tips on delivery, posture, and speaking clearly. This not only adds authenticity to the experience but also allows the children to learn from professionals in the field.

4. Customized News Segment: Work with the KOAA team to create a personalized news segment featuring the children. This could include recording their newscast and editing it to include graphics and effects to make it look like a real news broadcast. Provide each child with a copy of the finished segment as a memento of the experience.

4. Pizza Party: After the newscast, treat the children to a pizza party where they can relax, chat about their experience, and enjoy some delicious food. Use this time for informal Q&A sessions where the kids can ask more questions about working in broadcasting or anything else they're curious about.
