A Celebration of Strong Neighborhoods 2024

Tickets include access to an amazing buffet of heavy appetizers and desserts from Antigua Latin Cuisine that will be available throughout the evening, one drink ticket for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink of choice, live Latin Jazz music and the opportunity to engage with young people in MCC's programs, learn more about the work we do to build strong neighborhoods here in Milwaukee, and connect with others who care deeply about our neighborhoods.

Event Day Details

We are looking forward to seeing you this Thursday at the Celebration of Strong Neighborhoods! Here is some additional information to help you prepare for event day. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Factory on Barclay. There is also ample street parking available. Please do not park in the Cermak parking lot.

Doors open at 5:00 PM! You do not need to present a ticket, simply tell us your name at registration. Enjoy heavy appetizers from Antigua Latin Cuisine, drinks and live music and bid on auction items from 5:00-6:15 PM. Learn more about MCC programs, visit our Youth Gallery, eat delicious food and win unique auction items!

The event program, led by Symone Woolridge of TMJ4, officially begins at 6:30 PM. This event will be inside the venue however, there is an area outside where you can enjoy a beverage or food if you choose to do so. During the program there will be a mixture of seated and standing tables. Please dress accordingly in business casual style to enjoy this summer evening with us.

Auction items will be available for pick up starting at 7:45 PM at the event, or if you are bidding remotely, after Monday, August 26th at the MCC main site. Delivery can be arranged for larger items as needed.

Don't forget! Everyone who joins us is encouraged to bring a school supply item to donate to our Back-To-School Supply Drive to help get children set up for success for the new school year. Those who donate will be entered to win one of two $25 gift cards to local restaurants!
