You are bidding on a private pottery lesson for two at Kingston Ceramic Studio and a $25 gift certificate to Ollie's Pizza.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to throw a pot or bowl? One of Kingston Ceramic Studio's excellent teachers will guide you and a partner to center, shape and finish your clay creation in their well equipped studio. Any finished products will be fired and glazed for pick up later and no extra cost. Children over 7 are welcome with an adult. Kingston Ceramic Studio is located in the old Shirt Factory on Cornell Street in midtown KIngston. The studio occupies three well lit rooms with tall ceilings and large windows. KCS is a welcoming place where potters of all skills and ages meet to explore their creativity and have fun messing around with clay. This is a wonderful opportunity to get started in the rewarding world of working with clay. The owner Lex Feldheim has been a potter and teacher for many years. She started KCS in 2017 and has expanded her space to accommodate her many loyal members. The studio offers private lessons, weekly classes and special events like sip and spin, which combines throwing on the wheel with enjoying a glass of wine.
No prior experience is needed, just an openness to play.
After your ceramic lesson, pop over to Ollie's Pizza for lunch or dinner. Ollie's started during the pandemic as an open air pizza restaurant in High Falls. Because they serve great, inventive pizza and salads in a causal setting, they have become very popular in the Hudson Valley. This year they opened a separate store on Broadway in Kingston where you can get a slice or shop at the charcuterie next door.
