1Most of you reading this can move on, this probably doesn't apply to you. Because your daughter always chews with her mouth closed. She never interrupts. And she has absolutely mastered the art of keeping her elbows off the dinner table.
Sensing the sarcasm? Just a little.
As our incoming 5th graders begin a new school year, they'll take part in their very first etiquette experience - a special evening designed to introduce the foundations of dining and social confidence. The girls will gather with the boys for a fun, interactive program complete with a served dinner, where they'll learn and practice the basics: proper place settings, polite conversation, introductions, eye contact, and thoughtful table manners.
It's the beginning of a tradition.
(BTW, you're welcome, 5th grade teachers.)
