About Philadelphia Children's Alliance
Philadelphia Children's Alliance provides step-by-step care for children
who have been sexually abused at no cost to victims or their families.
We also lead research-based child abuse prevention programs to communities,
schools, and organizations throughout the city.
Each year, Philadelphia Children's Alliance provides comprehensive care
to more than 2,000 child victims - this includes highly specialized mental health therapy,
forensic interviews, medical services, and caregiver support.
These numbers do not include the programs we do with the School District of Philadelphia
which bring prevention education directly into classrooms and reaching hundreds more.

The Bear Affair is Philadelphia Children's Alliances annual fundraiser --
a night of celebration for the impact, partnerships, and community of
our organization.
Attendees participate in an incredible live and silent auction,
enjoy great food, a full open bar, exclusive night-of experiences,
lovely special guests, and more.
The proceeds from the night directly benefit the healing and justice
PCA provides to survivors of child sexual abuse.

PCA calls its annual fundraiser the Bear Affair to honor a child's first visit to PCA and the
first big step in their healing journey.
Every child who comes to PCA receives a brand new stuffed animal
to bring them comfort and joy during a difficult time.
Bear Affair guests are invited to bring a new plush to the event,
which will end up in the arms of a survivor.
