About the Camp: theCoderSchool Summer Camp

Don't miss out on the chance to ignite your child's passion for coding, gaming and technology. From building interactive games in Scratch/Python to creating virtual worlds in Minecraft and Roblox, our camps offer hands-on learning experiences that will inspire creativity and innovation. All levels are welcome.

They'll code throughout the week then demo their creations on Friday afternoon to the group (and parents who want to come.)

There will be plenty of fun off-screen activities to create a nice balance. Our camps are both fun and educational!

Game Builders Academy - Embark on an epic gaming adventure this summer as we journey from modern-day hits like Flappy Bird to timeless classics like Frogger and Breakout! At our game development camp, campers will dive headfirst into the exciting world of game creation using the dynamic programming language Scratch.

Session 1: Jun. 24 to Jun 28

Session 2: Jul. 29 to Aug 2

Roblox Obby Odyssey - Calling all Roblox enthusiasts! If your kids can't get enough of Roblox, they're in for an exciting adventure at our summer camp! Dive into the world of game creation as campers learn how to craft their very own 'Obby' (Roblox lingo for obstacle course) using the dynamic Roblox Studio platform.
Session 1: Jul. 8 to Jul 12
Session 2: Aug. 5 to Aug 9

Minecraft Masters - While Minecraft is widely recognized as a beloved kids' video game, it's also a powerful educational tool. Campers will enjoy an exciting journey of discovery and creativity where they'll learn the art of building, creating, and customizing their own virtual worlds through coding in Minecraft.

Session 1: Jul. 15 to Jul 19

Session 2: Aug. 12 to Aug 16

Robotics Rookies - Gear up for an electrifying adventure this summer! This immersive camp is a great hands-on introduction to working with real robots and empowering campers to unleash their creativity and programming skills. The pinnacle of the week? An epic robot competition, where campers can put their newfound skills to the test, whether it's navigating a maze or tackling timed challenges.
